Cya YMS!

 Hi bloggers!
Today I'm going to be talking to you about my amazing time at Yaldhurst.
I love Yaldhurst and it is a really great school.

Something that I am going to miss about YMS are my friends because I have only just got to know a lot of them.
My friends are always kind to me and even though they have known each other for a lot longer they have still accepted me into their group.

I have been at YMS since I was five which is a long time.
Now I am going to go to Riccarton High School which I think is going to be a really great experience just like Yaldhurst was.

Some things that I have enjoyed doing at Yaldhurst in previous years are wearable arts, reading the book "holes" and hanging out with my old friend Rihanna.
Some things that I have enjoyed doing at Yaldhurst this year are playing Korfball, making new friends, and Pet Day.
I enjoyed playing Korfball because it is a really fun sport that was also quite new to me.
I enjoyed making new friends this year because it is really cool to have new people surrounding me.
I enjoyed Pet Day because we got to do a lot of amazing activities.

Something that I have learnt here at Yaldhurst is how to be a YMS HERO and how to work/communicate well with anyone around me.

I have also learnt maths, reading, writing and other things like that.
If I had the chance to stay at Yaldhurst I definitely would because it is such an amazing school.

Cya later & thank you YMS!

SLJ Teaser Activity 🖌️

 Hi bloggers!
Today I'm going to be talking about something crazy.
Okay fine, crazy might not be the right word for it, unless...
You put it like this...

CRAZY FUN!

That's what I'm talking about!
Well, kinda.
I'm actually going to be introducing you to the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ).
You can do activities, win prizes etc.
If you have absolutely no idea what it is, you might want to click this link.
(Just ignore that it says parents.)

Anyways, today I have done the teaser activity, which you can find right here.
Well, the instructions anyways.
My one is right...

Here!

What do you think?
I'm really proud of it.
You can probably guess that I love using bright colours...
Anyways, I'm the most proud of how I used the dull background to make the flowers' colours POP!

Have you used Art Colouring Book before?
What do you think the best part of my colouring is?
Are you going to do the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ)?

Cya later, have a nice day!

The Most Fun School Day! 🐈

 Hi bloggers!
Today I'm going to be telling you about my experience of Pet Day!
Well, some of the things I did anyways.
What is Pet Day?
Pet Day is usually a day where everyone can bring one of their pets, but thanks to COVID, this year, we can't bring our pets. So instead, we had some cool activities that we did!

On pet day we could choose what activities we wanted to do out of 6 options: leaf art, photography, sand saucer, floating flower arrangement, cake decorating/tasing, lego competition.
Out of all these activities, I decided to compete in leaf art, photography, and sand saucer.

It was super fun and everything was amazing!
My favourite activity would probably have to be leaf art, but it was also super challenging because gluing leaves onto leaves is very difficult and I did get quite frustrated.
In the end, I'm really proud of the end result and how I did!

Do you have Pet Day at school?
What do you think would be the most fun activity?

Cya later, have a nice day!

How Names Defame

   Hello bloggers!

Today I'm going to be talking to you about my speech.
This year, I wrote a speech about why names of animal species matter.
Here is my speech if you want to read it:

It took me a very long time to write and edit this piece but I am so proud of it!
I did have a few challenges, like making it fit within the time limit, but I guess everyone had a few challenges writing their speeches.
It was also quite fun to do!

I presented it to the class and I messed up terribly.
Even though I made a mistake, I still had the confidence to present it to the school.
I also managed to convince Zahrah to present her speech to the school.
When I presented my speech to the school, I was very nervous at first, but then I was fine.

Turns out, I had bet Zahrah with my speech and come first place in speeches (surprisingly).
I then managed to get into the Selwyn speeches competition.
That was also very nerve-racking and I didn't manage to place, but it was a cool experience.
Some of the other speeches were so good!
Honestly, I'm so proud of myself.

Did you write a speech this year?
What do you think of my speech?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Luna - Who or What?

 Hello bloggers!
Today I'm going to be showing you something that I made on Google Drawings.
What's with the title?
Well, I named it/them Luna.
Maybe it will give you a clue!

Anyways, why was I doing this?
Well, I was doing this because it was another... Cybersmart Challenge!
If you want to try it then click the link.

Soooo... you're probably wondering what this 'Luna' looks like.
Well, here she is:

My experience with this was really fun!
I didn't really learn anything, but honestly I've been using Google Drawings since I was like 7.
I did remember a few things though, like how to make things glow!
Some parts of this activity were challenging though.
Making the wings was one of these challenges, and the back spines were another.

Have you done this challenge?
Do you think that my monster fits the poem?
What kind of monster would you create?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Spring Learning Journey #7 - The Best Way To Travel

Hello everyone!

This is my seventh Spring Learning Journey blog post.

If you don't know what the Spring Learning Journey is, then here is a paragraph to explain it.

Well, it is like some of the other Learning Journeys that I have participated in.
There are 20 activities that you can do (if you want to).
In the Summer Learning Journey, you usually have a chance at prizes, but with some of the smaller ones, it's more just for fun (and learning).

Okay, so now that is out of the way, what is the activity that I am doing?
I chose to do Activity 19 because I felt like I really needed to show everyone what I think the best way to travel is.
The activity is called The Best Way To Travel and what you do for this activity is you research your favourite type of transport and create a blog post to teach others about it.

Here is the presentation that I created using Google Slides:

Something that I learnt is that the modern bicycle was invented in 1885.
I didn't have a lot of fun doing the research, but I did enjoy making the background.

What do you think is the best way to travel?
Do you think cars are better, or bikes?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Spring Learning Journey #6 - Future Travel

Hello everyone!

This is my sixth Spring Learning Journey blog post.

I chose to do Activity 5 because I had the best idea ever for it!
The activity is called Future Travel and what you do for this activity is you think about what travel will look like in the future, create designs and label them.

Here are the designs that I created using Google Slides:

I learnt about what airplanes and cars are made of by doing this activity.
I also learnt that polycarbonate plastic is pretty much heatproof, lightweight and up to 200 times stronger than glass.
Doing this activity was fun because i got to put my animating skills to work.

What do you think future travel will look like?
Did you know about polycarbonate plastic?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Spring Learning Journey #5 - Timeline

Hello everyone!

This is my fifth Spring Learning Journey blog post.

I chose to do Activity 1 because I wanted to learn a bit about the history of transport.
The activity is called Timeline and what you do for this activity is you learn about find information about when certain forms of transport were invented and you make a timeline of them.

Here is the timeline that I made on Google Drawings:

By doing this activity, I learnt a lot about the history of transport.
It was fun to make the Google Drawing, but some parts of it were a bit boring.

What do you think about the history of transport?
What would you use to make a timeline?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Spring Learning Journey #4 - Story/Facts

Hello everyone!

This is my fourth Spring Learning Journey post.

I chose to do Activity 3 because I love learning about animals.
The activity is called Story/Facts and what you do for this activity is you make a comic or animation with the theme of moving that either tells a story or shares facts.

Here is the animation that I made:

I learnt a lot of facts about walking while making this blog post.
It was also quite fun to make because I love making animations!

Do you like comics or animations better?
Do you know any cool facts about walking?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Spring Learning Journey #3 - Animal Movements

Hello everyone!

This is my third Spring Learning Journey post.

If you don't know what the Spring Learning Journey is, then here is a paragraph to explain it.

Well, it is like some of the other Learning Journeys that I have participated in.

Okay, so now that is out of the way, what is the activity that I am doing?
I chose to do Activity 9 because I love learning about animals.
The activity is called Animal Movements and what you do for this activity is you find fun facts about animal movements to make a poster.

Here is my poster:

I learnt so many amazing things about animal movements from making this blog post!
It was really fun learning about these animals and making this poster.
Hopefully you had fun reading my blog!

Do you know any fun facts like these?
Are you doing the Spring Learning Journey?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Spring Learning Journey #2 - Moving Lines

 Hello everyone!

This is my second Spring Learning Journey post.

I chose to do Activity 15 because I love doing art and the activity looked really fun.
The activity is called Moving Lines and what you do for this activity is you watch the video and make one of the pieces of art.

If you want to know what my piece of art looks like, then take a look at this slideshow!

Making this piece of art was really fun (like I thought it would be).
From doing this activity, I learnt a new way of making art.

Have you done art like this?
Are you doing the Spring Learning Journey?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Spring Learning Journey - Moving To Where?

Hello everyone!
I know you haven't seen me blogging recently, but I've finally had the time to!
I'm going to be doing my first Spring Learning Journey post.

Firstly though, what is the Spring Learning Journey?
Well, it is like some of the other Learning Journeys that I have participated in.
There are 20 activities that you can do (if you want to).
In the Summer Learning Journey, you usually have a chance at prizes, but with some of the smaller ones, it's more just for fun (and learning).

Okay, so now that is out of the way, what is the activity that I am doing?
I chose to do Activity 12 because when I saw it, I immediately knew the answer.
The activity is called Moving To Where and what you do for this activity is you decide where in the world you would want to move to and why.

If you want to know where I would move to, then here is my slideshow, explaining it all!

It took a lot of time, but I enjoyed making this blog post!
I really would like to move there if I could.

Where would you want to move to?
What would you miss about home?

Cya later, have a nice day!

A Strange Sport...

 Hi bloggers!
Today I'm going to be talking about my fun and exciting experience with Korfball.
Korfball is a bit tricky when you first start, because there are a lot of rules.
I think that it's a bit like netball-- but that's just me.
There are too many rules so I'm just going to let the video explain them!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUtJB5jBOis

There was a guy called Yuri that came and taught us how to play.
He introduced rules one at a time so it would be easier to learn.
The first two rules he gave us were "No physical contact" and "No kicking the ball".

Okay, now here are some photos of us playing Korfball!

At first I was a bit nervous but I was fine when I played.
I think that it is a very cool sport and also the hoops are AWESOME (and tall!).

Have you played Korfball?
Do you think Korfball looks like a cool sport?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Hey, Don't Click That Link!

 Hi bloggers!
Today I'm going to be talking about what I have learnt about scams and phishing.
Our class did a cybersmart challenge on scams and phishing.
I think it was very easy but I did learn a few things from the video.
Here is the link to the cybersmart challenge:

https://cybersmartchallenge.blogspot.com/2021/09/challenge-23-scams-and-phishing.html

Here is the slideshow that I worked on:

I think I got them all right and it was fun to do.
It didn't take me long, so maybe you could try it too.
Something that I learnt is that if the padlock up by the website html is red or has a cross than the website might just be a scam.

Have you done a cybersmart challenge?
What are your tips on finding out what's a scam?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Te Wiki O Te Reo Maori

 Kia Ora!
Today I'm going to be talking about some of the things my class has been doing for Te Reo Maori week.

Firstly, I'm going to be talking about the Maori Language Moment.
This is an awesome thing that Rimu took part in this week.
On Tuesday at 12pm we went to kapa haka and we recorded ourselves singing the waiata "Rona".
Why is this?

Because we signed up to help try to break the world record for millions of people doing something in an endangered, indigenous language.
I don't know if we broke the world record or not, but it was fun anyways!

Here is the link to the Maori Moment website.
https://www.reomaori.co.nz/

Something else that our class tried out is using a cool website to make a pepeha.
It looks really cool and here is mine.

If you want to make an awesome pepeha like I did, here is the link!

Overall, Te Wiki O Te Reo Maori (Maori Language Week) was really fun and I learnt a lot!
I don't really care if we broke the world record or not because the most important thing is that it was enjoyable.

What did you do for Maori Language Week?
Did you participate in the Maori Language Moment?

Cya later, have a nice day!

How To Spot A Liar

 Hi everyone!
Today I am going to be sharing some of the work I did on Friday but I also did some of the work today.
I found it really interesting because I didn't know how to spot a liar before we did this.
I learnt a lot of things and maybe you will too.
Here is the slide that I worked on.

I learnt that you could tell if someone is lying just by their hands!
Something else I learnt is to think out of the box sometimes.
I learnt this from a game called "Who is Lying".
We played it for ten minutes and I got to level 16.
The game was really fun and I'm really glad that we got to play it.
Maybe you could try it too (it's on Poki).

Do you know any ways to spot a liar?
Have you learnt ways to spot a liar from this blog?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Share & Care Tuesday... Again!

 Hi everyone!
Today I did an awesome teaching session with some of my classmates.
Of course it was on google meets again...
Anyways, it was really fun to do and I chose Nishka's blog about Roman Numerals.
Here is the slide that I completed:

If you think Nishka's blog looks cool (like I did!) then here is the link.

Have you heard of Roman Numerals?
Have you 'shouted out' someone's blog before?

Writing Wednesday!

 Hi bloggers!
Today I'm going to be showing you some of the writing work that I have done today on my class google meet.
I worked hard to write this up and it took a lot of planning.

In our class we are working on persuasive writing.
Maybe this will persuade you to think a certain way, let's see!

I'm very proud of my writing!
Hopefully you like it as much as I do.

What writing have you done over lockdown?
What is your favourite part of my writing?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Share & Care Tuesday!

 Hi everyone!
Today I'm going to be showing you one of the things that I have done on my class google meet.
Today it is called 'Share and Care Tuesday'.
We (everyone who showed up) each got a slide and we had to find someone in our class that had a really cool blog post.
Then I wrote what I thought was cool about the blog post.
I chose Zahrah's blog post (no, not just because she is my friend!).
Here is the slide that I did.
Doing 'Share and Care Tuesday' was really fun and much more fun than 'Maths Monday' (even though I didn't stay for much of it).

Also, if Zahrah's blog looks cool to you then here is the link.

Have you done something like this?
What do you think of 'Share and Care Tuesday'?

Cya later, have a nice day!

The Dangerous Gift - Lockdown

 Hi everyone!
Today I'm going to be writing about a book from the Wings Of Fire series.
The book is called The Dangerous Gift and is by Tui Sutherland.
I have read the whole Wings Of Fire series and it is really good.

You're probably wondering why I decided to write this blog.
Well the reason is that we're in lockdown and it is one of the activities that the teacher set.

Time for some astonishing, awesome and astounding information!

-SPOILER ALERT-

I think this book is for ages 9-12.
This book is a fantasy book so it would be good for people who like fantasy things or just dragons.

I started reading this series almost a year ago and I still like it.
My favourite book from the series is probably book 12 - The Hive Queen.
I like it because it has a lot of character development.

I chose to do my blog about this book because its a new one and I've read it recently.

What is your favourite book or series?
Have you read a Wings Of Fire book?
Do you like fantasy books?
How is lockdown for you?

Cya later, have a nice day!

🔥 Lost In The Nether 🔥

 Hello Bloggers!

Today I'm going to be talking about the book 'Lost In The Nether'.
It's a book that is set in the world of Minecraftia (or Minecraft).
It's also about a kitten.
Here is some information about the book...

When kitten Eeebs develops supernatural powers, he ends up destined to save his homeland, the Overworld from an evil enderman (Enderstar) and his army...

I know it's short, but it's effective (well I think so anyways).
Here is a link to the authors page.

This is the cover of the book.
I think it looks really cool and it's part of the reason I chose to read the book in the first place.

I think this book would be good for ages 8-12 because it's pretty easy to read, but there are a lot of words, and some big words.
This book would be good for people who like Minecraft and people who like books about Minecraft.
It could possibly also be good for people who like cats, but if you don't know much about Minecraft it would be harder to understand everything.
I think it's for a larger age range because its not for teenagers, but its not exactly childish either.

I liked this book because I like Minecraft and I also like cats.
I think it's a really cool book because it has heaps of different Minecraft mobs in it.
My favourite thing was that there are different supernatural characters.

Have you read a Minecraft themed book before?
Have you played Minecraft?
Do you like cats?

Cya later, have a nice day!

The Super Student Summit Of 2021

 Hello everyone!
My name is Amelia.
Today I'm going to be talking to you about the Student Summit.
I learnt so many new things and I really enjoyed it.
Most of the class went and a lot of other schools went too.
I would much rather be at the Student Summit then at school.
I got to present and making the slides was really fun!
Speaking of the slides... here are the ones Stella, Zahrah and I made.

It took ages to make the slides but it was definitely worth it!
I think it looks absolutely AMAZING!
It was a lot of fun presenting this slideshow.

Here is the link to the quiz I made!

Underneath is a Biteable that I made when I was at the Biteable workshop.

Here are the photos that our teacher took of my class and I!

The Student Summit was really fun!
I enjoyed presenting because I got to teach other people how to do something new.
Something hard that I had to do while presenting is work on a Coggle so that I've got an example to show everyone but also helping people at the same time.

Something I enjoyed while making the quizzes is that I could make it about anything and I thought that was really cool.
A challenge that I had while making the quizzes was trying to share it with my friend so she could play it.
I made a quiz about Axolotls.
The quizzes we made were on Google Forms.

Something that I enjoyed at the Biteable workshop was that the presenters were very clear and they came around to help everyone when they needed it.
Something that was hard at the Biteable workshop was picking which parts I wanted to use.

Overall, this experience taught me heaps and I would definitely come again if I had the chance.
I had heaps of fun while doing every activity and coming here couldn't have been easier.

Have you been to a Student Summit before?
Have you used Coggle before?
Have you used Biteable before?

👨 Read A Book With Your Dad 20th June 👨

 Hello Bloggers!
I'm back with another post about the Epic Calendar Challenge.
The Epic Calendar Challenge is for home learning.
I don't have do it but it is optional.
I don't often have much to do in my free time so I just do it.
One of my friends does it too!
She hasn't posted in a while though.
Anyways, for different days there are different activities.
June 20th's activity is to read a book with your dad.

There might be prizes or something.
I don't know!
Some activities are more fun that others but I do all the ones that I know I can do.
I wish more people were actually doing the challenge though.

Anyways, if you want to see my DLO, you're in the right place!

Here is my colouring!

I really enjoyed reading with my dad and I think he liked it too.
I don't usually do stuff with my dad so it was good to have a chance to.
I don't really like farm stuff but the book was pretty good.
I think that it's good to try something new.

Have you read a book with your dad recently?
Are you doing the Epic Calendar Challenge?
Does your dad like farm stuff?

Cya later, have a nice day, and please do comment!

♫ Tune In 19th June ♫

 Hello Bloggers!
I'm back with another blog post for the home learning, Epic Calendar Challenge.
If you don't know what that is, well it's basically different activities that you can do on different days.
So far I'm up to my third blog of this series.
If you haven't seen my previous blogs, well you probably should see them!
Anyways, I find it fun to do these sorts of things, so I do them.

This activity was to listen to an audiobook before bedtime.
I couldn't get access to any of the audiobooks, so I did a read to me before bedtime instead.
Similar enough.
Enough spoilers, if you want more information, you're going to have to scroll right down to my DLO!

Here's my colouring!
(Which is super fun by the way!)

I really enjoyed listening to the book and it was pretty interesting.
I only really read it because it seemed similar to the "Cat Ninja" series.
My sisters even seemed interested in it.
I think that I would read it again and the other books in the series (if there are any yet).

Are you doing this challenge?
Do you like listening to audiobooks?
Do you like reading comics?

Cya later, have a nice day, and please do comment!

🥦 Eat Your Veggies 18th June 🥦

Hello Bloggers!
Today I did the epic calendar activity for the eighteenth of June.
If you have no idea what that is, then you should probably head on down to my last blog post.

Okay, so now you know.
The activity for the eighteenth of June was to "Cook A Meal Using Fresh Vegetables".
Yes... vegetables.
First of all, ew!
Second of all, I've never cooked vegetables before.
Third of all, I never wanted to cook vegetables.

If you want to see how I went with cooking some totally delicious vegetables then take a peek at this slideshow!

The box with the carrot and corn is the one I coloured in today!

Cooking vegetables for the first time was hard.
My sisters have still never cooked in their life, while I was stuck in the kitchen cutting up vegetables!
I was very confused on how to actually cook them though, I had to ask for a lot of help.
I haven't eaten them yet... hopefully they taste good.
My parents were quite shocked when I told them that I really needed to cook some vegetables.
Honestly, I was too.

Have you cooked vegetables before?
What is your favourite vegetable?
Are you doing the Epic Calendar Challenge?

Cya later, have a nice day, and please do comment!

✨ New Goal 17th June ✨

 Hello Bloggers!
Today I'm excited to be telling you about...

THE EPIC CALENDAR CHALLENGE!

It's an awesome challenge where you get to do heaps of different, fun activities.
I was so excited to go and do this so I did it as soon as I could.
This blog is for the 17th June challenge which is called...

NEW GOAL!

For the "New Goal" activity, we get to read 20 pages of a book on Epic!
Still Confused?
Well, you'll understand when I show you.
So let me show you!

Oh... I almost forgot to mention!
When we're finished, we get to colour in the box we did.
So I did!

My favourite part of doing this activity was colouring in the box!
Well... obviously.
I liked actually doing the activities, but colouring in is like... twice the fun.
Okay, okay yes I sound like some 5 year old who just likes colouring in.
Maybe I am, who knows.
Anyway, the hardest part was finding something to read.
There are good books but sometimes it's hard to find something that I would read in real life.
Once you do though, you just can't stop reading!

Have you heard of the Epic Calendar Challenge?
Do you want to try it?
Do you like reading books?
(I know I like reading books!)

Oh... I ALSO forgot to mention that Epic is an awesome reading program where you can read all sorts of books!
I think that if you like reading, or if you're a teacher and your class likes reading, that you should try it out.
No harm in trying something new!

Cya later, have a nice day, and please do try this out.

🏐 Netball Blazers 🏐

 Hello bloggers!
My name is Amelia and today I'm going to be talking about winter sport.
Maybe you do it at your school, or maybe you don't.
Either way, you'll probably know at least something about it.
Winter sport is something we do in winter and we get to choose a sport.
Not any sport though, we can either pick netball, soccer or hockey.

I chose netball because that is something that I do enjoy doing.
I've always loved netball and even my friend Zahrah does now.
This is really an exciting time for everyone but especially for Zahrah.
It's her very first year of playing netball, but trust me, she is great at it already.
That doesn't mean I'm excited, because I am super excited.
Also, did I mention that we're starting winter sport this Friday!
THIS FRIDAY!

🤔 Enough about that, let's get into the interesting stuff... 🤔

Every single time I practice netball, I also practice a lot of other things.
Netball teaches me how to work as a team, how to bounce back from hard times and how to be proactive.
How does netball help me in so many ways?
Well, you can't win as a team if you don't work well with your team and you can't win if all you're thinking about is how bad you are at it.

Do you play any sports?
Does your school do winter sport?
Have you played netball before?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Camp Series - Post 3 - Tree Climbing 🌲

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog!

My name is Amelia and this is the third post of my series called Camp Series!
(If you have not seen the first post, I advise you to have a look here.)
(If you have not seen the second post, I advise you to have a look here.)
In this series I will be talking about the activities that I participated in on camp.
In this first post I will be talking to you, yes you, about my experience with Tree Climbing.

I have not done Tree Climbing before at the wonderful Waipara Adventure Centre but I have visited with my family before.
This means that I have had some experience with staying there, not to say that I didn't learn anything though, as I have learnt many new things, and not just Tree Climbing skills, from this awesome experience with Tree Climbing.

This experience with Tree Climbing has taught me to be brave and always try new things. It has showed me that to do something new, you have to be proactive and think positively. Being proactive is when you think positively and take charge of the situation, and you never blame others for something you may have done.

If you, yes you, are intrigued or interested in what I have stated, then you may want to have a peek at this slideshow that I have created so that you too, can experience the wonders of Tree Climbing!

Have you ever done Tree Climbing before?
If so, have you done it with a harness on?
If you have not, then would you ever like to do Tree Climbing?

Have you ever been on a camp?
If so, what was your favourite activity or memory?
If you have not, then would you ever consider going on one?

Cya later everyone, have a nice day!

Camp Series - Post 2 - Swimming 🌊

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog!

My name is Amelia and this is the second post of my series called Camp Series!
(If you have not seen the first post, I advise you to have a look here.)
In this series I will be talking about the activities that I participated in on camp.
In this first post I will be talking to you, yes you, about my experience with Swimming.

I have done Swimming twice before at the wonderful Waipara Adventure Centre as I have visited with my family twice, yes twice.
This means that I have had some experience with swimming there, not to say that I didn't learn anything though, as I have learnt many new things, and not swimming skills, from this awesome experience at Swimming.

This experience with Swimming has taught me to keep on trying and never give up. It has showed me that to have fun when you're working with others, you need to synergize. Synergy is when you get along well with others, I know that when I'm working with others as a team, we can get things done faster than if you worked alone.

If you, yes you, are intrigued or interested in what I have stated, then you may want to have a peek at this slideshow that I have created so that you too, can experience the wonders of Swimming!

Have you ever been swimming before?
If so, have you swam in a swimming hole?
If you have not, then would you ever like to go swimming?

Have you ever been on a camp?
If so, what was your favourite activity or memory?
If you have not, then would you ever consider going on one?

Cya later everyone, have a nice day!

Camp Series - Post 1 - Archery 🎯

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog!
My name is Amelia and this is the first post of my new series called Camp Series!
In this series I will be talking about the activities that I participated in on camp.
In this first post I will be talking to you, yes you, about my experience in Archery.

I have done Archery twice before at the wonderful Waipara Adventure Centre as I have visited with my family twice, yes twice.
This means that I have had some experience with bow and arrows, not to say that I didn't learn anything though, as I have learnt many new things, and not only bow and arrow skills, from this awesome experience with Archery.

This experience with Archery has taught me to be resilient, and to keep on trying, even when things seem tough. It has showed me that to reach your goals, or in this case, hit your target, you need to work hard and think proactively.

If you, yes you, are intrigued or interested in what I have stated, then you may want to have a peek at this slideshow that I have created so that you too, can experience the wonders of Archery!

Have you ever done Archery before?
If so, have you hit a 'bullseye'?
If you have not, then would you ever consider doing Archery?

Have you ever been on a camp?
If so, what was your favourite activity or memory?
If you have not, then would you ever consider going on one?

Cya later everyone, have a nice day!

Kawa Of Care - Cybersmart Challenge #1 💻

Hello bloggers, today I'm going to be showing you what I learnt about being cybersmart.
I did this for a challenge, here is a link to their blog.

I learnt a few things about being cybersmart but there were also a few things I already knew.

If you haven't done this than I think you should because it is a really great way to see if you are cybersmart or not.

The first poster is more about simple knowledge everyone should have.
The second poster is a more knowledge but it is a bit harder to figure out. The third poster is basically me saying that I'm going to be cybersmart.

Here are the posters I worked on:

This was simple and pretty fun.
Over all I really enjoyed it and it didn't take too long to do.
I think I got all the questions right... I hope so anyways!

I think you should do it to test your knowledge!
If you do it can you please tell me so I can go check it out?
I'd love to see how you do!

Have you done this challenge?
If you have, was it easy or hard for you?
If you haven't do you think you want to try it?

Cya later, have a nice day!
(P.S. please check out some of my other blogs too!)
