Which One Doesn't Belong ❓ - SLJ #6

Hello everyone!

Today I'm making this post for the Summer Learning Journey, or SLJ.

As you know, after every term there is a set of holidays.
In this time off school we chill at home, maybe we go on holiday somewhere or play video games.
After the holidays are over, we do our tests and we are behind so much!
Last time maybe someone got a 3P for maths and now they've gone down to a 2A or 3B.
The Summer Learning Journey was created to help students maintain their skills.

So today I have decided to do the sixth activity.
What I had to do for this activity was to basically do this workbook.
On the slide after the title page is one I made myself.
Tell me what you think the differences are in the comments!

Here is my workbook:

That was pretty fun but some of them were a bit hard.
It didn't take too long to do, maybe thirty to forty minutes.

What was your favourite one?
What differences can you think of?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Optical Illusions ꩜ - SLJ #5

Hello everyone!

Today I'm making this post for the Summer Learning Journey, or SLJ.

As you know, after every term there is a set of holidays.
In this time off school we chill at home, maybe we go on holiday somewhere or play video games.
After the holidays are over, we do our tests and we are behind so much!
Last time maybe someone got a 3P for maths and now they've gone down to a 2A or 3B.
The Summer Learning Journey was created to help students maintain their skills.

So today I have decided to do the fifth activity.
What I had to do for this activity was to basically make an optical illusion.
It took me about 30 minutes to do.

Here is my optical illusion:

This was pretty fun do do although it did take a lot of time to complete.
Next time I would try a swirly one.
There are a lot of different optical illusions, aren't there?
I wonder why our brain sees them this way.

Have you made an optical illusion?
If you haven't, what type would you want to do?
If you have, what type did you do?

Cya later, have a nice day!

What Are You Doing Today ❓ - SLJ #4

  Hello everyone!

Today I'm making this post for the Summer Learning Journey, or SLJ.
As you know, after every term there is a set of holidays.
In this time off school we chill at home, maybe we go on holiday somewhere or play video games.
After the holidays are over, we do our tests and we are behind so much!
Last time maybe someone got a 3P for maths and now they've gone down to a 2A or 3B.
The Summer Learning Journey was created to help students maintain their skills.

So today I have decided to do the fourth activity.
What I had to do for this activity was to basically fill in a workbook.
BTW I think the workbook was missing a slide.

Here is my workbook:

What was challenging was choosing which picture I wanted to do.
Overall, I had a lot of fun with this workbook.
Some things were a bit confusing but that is okay.

To improve I could maybe decorate it or something.

Have you done this activity yet?
Was it fun for you?
If you haven't, do you want to do it?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Insect Art 🐛🎨 - SLJ #3

 Hello everyone!

Today I'm making this post for the Summer Learning Journey, or SLJ.
As you know, after every term there is a set of holidays.
In this time off school we chill at home, maybe we go on holiday somewhere or play video games.
After the holidays are over, we do our tests and we are behind so much!
Last time maybe someone got a 3P for maths and now they've gone down to a 2A or 3B.
The Summer Learning Journey was created to help students maintain their skills.

So today I have decided to do the third activity.
What I had to do for this activity was to basically make an insect out of flora (twigs, leaves, flowers etc.).

Here is my picture:

I think it turned out pretty great.
To improve I think I could probably use a larger variety of materials like maybe more flowers or different types of leaves.

Have you done this activity or something like this before?
What materials did you use if you have?
If you haven't, what materials do you think you would use?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Fishing False Teeth 🎣🦷 - SLJ #2

 Hello everyone!

Today I'm making this post for the Summer Learning Journey, or SLJ.
As you know, after every term there is a set of holidays.
In this time off school we chill at home, maybe we go on holiday somewhere or play video games.

Last time maybe someone got a 3P for maths and now they've gone down to a 2A or 3B.
The Summer Learning Journey was created to help students maintain their skills.

So today I have decided to do the second activity.
What I had to do for this activity was to basically use this comic template and write what I thought they were saying.

Here is my comic:

I think I did pretty well with this activity.
I like how it turned out and it wasn't too time consuming.
Anyways, I think to improve I could probably decorate it more and think about what I was writing a bit more.

Have you ever been on a boat before?
Have you done this activity yet?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Your Comments Count 💬 - SLJ #1

 Hello everyone!
Today I'm making this post for the Summer Learning Journey, or SLJ.
As you know, after every term there is a set of holidays.
In this time off school we chill at home, maybe we go on holiday somewhere or play video games.
After the holidays are over, we do our tests and we are behind so much!
Last time maybe someone got a 3P for maths and now they've gone down to a 2A or 3B.
The Summer Learning Journey was created to help students maintain their skills.

So today I have decided to do the first activity.
Here are the steps for this activity:

1. Comment on someone else's blog
2. Take a screenshot of the comment
3. Put the comment onto your blog
4. Write why you think your comment was good

Here is my comment:

I think my comment is good because I made it Positive, Thoughtful and Helpful.
I also added questions to start conversations.

To improve my comment I could've added words like because to make it more detailed.
I will try to do this next time.

Do you make your comments Positive, Thoughtful and Helpful?

Cya later, have a nice day!
