Hello bloggers!
For the last two weeks we have had Swim Safe instructors come to our school pool to teach us about water safety.
We were split into three groups based on our swimming ability.
People practiced strokes such as backstroke, freestyle, rolling logs.
I also got to wear a lifejacket and I learnt how to huddle to stay warm.
On the last day we wore our pyjamas over top of our togs.
We also made a whirlpool and went around and around the pool (weeee!).
Another thing we learnt is how to take your pyjamas off while in the water.
Here is my DLO:
(They are so fun!)
-If you do, have you had Swim Safe teach you?
Hello Amelia!
ReplyDeleteI have already done this comment but I think it deleted I dunno what happened..
Anyways, I can't believe you're a Year 8, Next year is high school for you!! YAY!
I hope you are enjoying your last year at Primary, it now gets more boring from here.
Do you miss us? Is Max a Year 8 now? It says on his blog but I thought he was a Year 6 last year 😂
Anything different? How is it?
Kind regards
Grace from last year
Hello Grace!
DeleteThank you for commenting on my blog!
I enjoyed reading your comment.
I'm not very excited for high school, I'm actually quite nervous.
I am enjoying my last year here at Yaldhurst, it's going great so far!
Don't worry, of course I miss you all!
Max is a year 8 now.
He must be really smart!
A few things have changed.
We have gone swimming a few times and we also play water polo sometimes.
We still get our own workspaces though.
What have you been up to?
Have you seen any of the other YMS graduates?
Sincerely,
Amelia.
