SLJ Teaser Activity 🖌️

 Hi bloggers!
Today I'm going to be talking about something crazy.
Okay fine, crazy might not be the right word for it, unless...
You put it like this...

CRAZY FUN!

That's what I'm talking about!
Well, kinda.
I'm actually going to be introducing you to the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ).
You can do activities, win prizes etc.
If you have absolutely no idea what it is, you might want to click this link.
(Just ignore that it says parents.)

Anyways, today I have done the teaser activity, which you can find right here.
Well, the instructions anyways.
My one is right...

Here!

What do you think?
I'm really proud of it.
You can probably guess that I love using bright colours...
Anyways, I'm the most proud of how I used the dull background to make the flowers' colours POP!

Have you used Art Colouring Book before?
What do you think the best part of my colouring is?
Are you going to do the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ)?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Spring Learning Journey #2 - Moving Lines

 Hello everyone!

This is my second Spring Learning Journey post.

If you don't know what the Spring Learning Journey is, then here is a paragraph to explain it.

Well, it is like some of the other Learning Journeys that I have participated in.
There are 20 activities that you can do (if you want to).
In the Summer Learning Journey, you usually have a chance at prizes, but with some of the smaller ones, it's more just for fun (and learning).

Okay, so now that is out of the way, what is the activity that I am doing?
I chose to do Activity 15 because I love doing art and the activity looked really fun.
The activity is called Moving Lines and what you do for this activity is you watch the video and make one of the pieces of art.

If you want to know what my piece of art looks like, then take a look at this slideshow!

Making this piece of art was really fun (like I thought it would be).
From doing this activity, I learnt a new way of making art.

Have you done art like this?
Are you doing the Spring Learning Journey?

Cya later, have a nice day!

Fox In A Bubble

Konnichiwa!
Today I'm telling you about my house art.
You're probably wondering what it is, so let me give you a brief explanation.
This week (mostly yesterday and today) all of our school has been working on an art project.
We have to cut out a circle to make it in the shape of a bubble, and then decorate it with our house colours.
Since I'm in Rutherford, I could use red, pink, and some oranges.
People in Ormsby can use yellow, gold, and some oranges.
People in Hillary can use blue, purple, and blue turquoises.
People in Edgar can use green, lime, and green turquoises.
Okay, moving on, check out this slide maybe?

As you can see, things change, mostly in a better way, from what they may have looked like in a plan.
I don't like really like plans too much, but I know they help you to come up with ideas and make everything more detailed.

Have you ever done something like this?
What do you think of my bubble?
Is there anything I could do to make the bubble or the slideshow better?

NOTHING YOU NEED TO SEE HERE!...

Hello everyone!
Today I'm talking about art and our amazing relief teacher.
His name is Mr. Matthews.
He likes to do art so on tuesday he came in and taught us a bit about perspective.
Before school I really wondered what kind of art we were going to do.
First we watched a video, then Mr. M gave us a cardboard circle.
After, we got into groups of four and then started making our amazing buildings.
I like art because like drawings and paintings and its really fun.
I wish we could do art more often and Olivia does too.
Some ideas for buildings are vets, spcas, police stations, churches, hospitals, and hotels.
I still wonder what colours I will use for my buildings.
I really liked decorating the buildings.
I didn't like making the lines it was kinda hard.
Okay, here is how to make one.
