Panto Pandemonium!

Kia ora!
This is my newest blog post featuring... the new school play!
Its called panto pandemonium, and it's about a magical land called panto land.
What was difficult about this blog post was doing the names of the characters because it was hard to remember them all.
What was easy about this blog post was making the backgrounds.
I even auditioned for a part in the play, I want to do it that much.
Well I'm already doing a play at drama class so I might as well.
Do you think I'll get the part?

Book/Author Process!

Kia ora!
This is my home learning blog for this week.
It is a bit rushed but hopefully you'll enjoy it.
What was hard was probably remembering to talk loud, because I feel like I talked quite quietly.
What was more easy was to actually plan out the video.
It was really fun to do this and I hope you like it.
Sit back, and enjoy the video!

Maori Directions Animation!

Kia ora!
Today I'm showing you about maori directions.
So my kitty friend Intrapta is going to be helping you start to learn them too.
What was easy when I was learning about these words was the main words.
What was hard was the extra words that sometimes go with them like with turning and things.
What was easy when I was making this blog post was getting the cat because it was already pre-made. (By me).
What was hard when I was making this blog post was remembering the words, so I had to get the sheet to help me do it.
Now these are just the basics of the maori directions, so don't get too caught up about it.
But I'm sure if you'd like to learn more I can make another blog post about it, just tell me in the comments!
Here is the slide so you can have a look at what Intrapta had prepared to show you.

Bye everyone, hope you had a great time learning today!

Trip To Town!

Kia ora!
Today I'm showing you my trip to town blog post.
It was really fun and I think everyone enjoyed the trip.
What was easy in this blog was the animation part.
What was more difficult was finding the photos and also making the title background.
My next steps are to probably put more emotions in and other things like that.
The characters in this are made by me just if you were wondering.
For some more information have a peek at this slide.

My Future House! (Homelearning)

Kia ora, everyone!
Today I designed my future house.
I think it looks amazing and it didn't take too long to make.
What was easy was having the design in my head, like thinking of it.
What was hard was actually making it.
I was going to do something completely different at first though but it didn't work.
So then I did this design.
How do you think it turned out?
What would your future house look like?
Would it look anything like mine?
Cya everyone, don't forget to comment!

Speed Dating... Book Edition!

Kia ora! 🦊
Today we did something even I agree was a little odd.
But eventually I found my one true love!
Its a book, yes, but everyone has a book for their true love apparently. Some people didn't get the books they wanted but I did.
Mine is called 'Against The Odds' and it's pretty interesting.
Its about a child whose dad is a doctor and travels away to heal war people.
The child's name is Kiki and Kiki always thinks he won't come back and will get killed.
But one day it happens.
I've only read like 16 pages but its all on the blurb, that little part on the back of a book.

3 Comments! (SLJ A14)

Kia ora!
Today I'm showing you something really basic.
It's just three comments and I've been doing a bunch of commenting so I thought I might as well.
This blog is for the spring learning journey.

Just in case you don't know what the spring learning journey is, I will explain.
It is a thing in the holidays you can do.
There are twenty activities to do, and any activity you do gets you one point.
Any comment you do gives you two points. (Which is why this is a good blog post to do.)
At the end the points get added up and you come 1st 2nd 3rd.
Also you can get a small prize if you do six blogs.

Anyways here are the comments:

I like having ice cream because I have it a lot in the holidays and it is the holidays.

Do you like carrots?

Celery! (SLJ, A6)

Kia ora!
I haven't been on for a while since my chromebook broke.
So I haven't really been able to do the learning journey.
But luckily my little sister Mikayla let me borrow her chromebook, so here we are.
I'm doing activity 6 of the spring learning journey.
I wish I could try celery and my google drawing will show you some reasons.
I mean if hamsters are able to eat vegetables, so can humans!

                                                               🐹

Have you read Holes?
Did you like it?

Finding Fractions!

Kia ora!
Today I'm talking to you about fractions.
Its a method for finding fractions but I'm not sure what its called.
Maybe it's called finding fractions!
Anyways if you don't know fractions probably look at the screencastify.
It will teach you how to do this fractions method.
It was kinda easy to learn the method.
I think I might've gotten some wrong, but everyone makes mistakes.
Here is the video:

The Portal To The Future!

Kia ora!
Today I'm showing you my digi awards.
Me and my group MOA, have been working on this for weeks.
I still wonder what other place the character is going to go to.
I found the end more fun than the start.
The challenging part was making the buildings.
My next steps are to be finishing the digi award and uploading it.
I might use biteable for my next blog.
Do you do digi awards?
Well lets get right into this!

Maths Is (NOT) Cool!

Hi everyone, today I made an animation about teaching my mum how to use the grid method.
I couldn't actually do it but I did this instead.
Maybe you could try to teach your parent.
I kinda like maths but not really.
I'm ahead in everything but maths. (Discluding fitness/P.E.)
I do everything a little faster than the others in my group.
Anyways let's get into this!
